Most pet insurers will allow you to change your level of cover at any time during the policy period, but there are those which will only let you do so when it comes to the policy renewal date.
You will need to contact your pet insurance provider directly to check their stance on changing your cover level or limits. Note that they will take into account any previous claims you have made under the policy.
