This section of cover differs significantly depending on your insurer and level of cover. Some policies provide cover for life-saving vet treatment while you’re on holiday, some provide holiday cancellation claims if you have to cancel your holiday because of your pet, and others do not cover any claims in relation to being abroad at all.
This section will contain exclusions just as most sections do - for example, you can only make a claim if you have taken your pet to a certain country. Please check with your insurer, or in your Policy Wording, for more information regarding the cover for your pet abroad.
